imgkilo's tools are free to use for personal and commercial work. You are responsible for having the right to use any image you process, and for the result you produce with it.

Because everything runs on your own device, you keep full control of your files at all times. We never receive or store them.

The tools are provided as is, without warranties of any kind. Image compression and conversion are lossy operations by nature, so always keep your original files until you have confirmed the output meets your needs.

imgkilo is not liable for any loss arising from the use of the site or the app, including a file that does not meet a specific form or portal requirement. Specifications quoted in our guides and tools are commonly cited values, not official guarantees, and you should verify them against the current official source.

This applies in particular to passport, visa, and ID photos: the app's document presets and compliance checks are a convenience based on commonly published requirements. Acceptance is always decided by the issuing authority, and imgkilo is not responsible for a photo being rejected. Verify the current official specification before submitting.

The ImgKilo Android app is licensed to you, not sold, for use on Android devices you own or control, in accordance with these terms and Google Play's terms of service.

The app is free and supported by advertising served through Google AdMob. You may not interfere with, fraudulently interact with, or artificially inflate interactions with the ads.

The app processes images on your device and needs the permissions it requests (such as photo access) to do so; you can revoke them in Android settings at any time, with the corresponding features becoming unavailable.

Some functionality relies on Google Play services (for example on-device background removal and face detection models, and ad serving) and may be unavailable on devices without it. Features may change between versions as the app evolves.

Do not use the site or the app to process content you do not have the right to, or in any way that breaks the law — including creating fraudulent identity documents. Do not attempt to disrupt the service for other users, and do not reverse engineer, tamper with, or circumvent technical or advertising measures in the app except where the law permits it.
