Which bank exams this covers
Bank recruitment in India mostly runs through IBPS, which conducts the PO, Clerk, and RRB exams for public sector banks, and through the State Bank of India for its own PO and Clerk posts. Each uses an online form with a photo upload.
A photo near 200x230 pixels at a file size between roughly 20 and 50 KB is commonly required for these forms, with the signature handled separately. As always, these are typical figures rather than a fixed standard.

Match the bank portal spec
Get the shape right, then the weight. Resize to exact pixels to land on 200x230, then compress to a KB size so a heavy camera file fits the narrow KB window.
These portals enforce a floor as well as a ceiling, so an over-compressed file can be rejected for being too small. If that happens, increase a too-small file to bring it back over the minimum.
