NEET Photo Size Maker

The NEET application form is unforgiving about photos, and a wrong upload can hold up your whole registration. Many candidates watch a clear headshot get refused simply for being a few KB outside the allowed range.

Output is JPG, resized to your pixels and kept at or under the max KB. If a minimum is set, the file is padded up to it. Always confirm the exact rules in the official notification.

What NEET is and who uploads here

NEET is the national entrance exam for medical and dental courses in India, conducted by the National Testing Agency. Lakhs of students register each year through the NTA portal, uploading a passport-style photo and a signature.

A photo near 200x230 pixels at a file size between roughly 10 and 200 KB is commonly cited for the NEET form, with a separate, smaller signature file. These numbers shift between sessions, so treat them as a guide.

NEET Photo Size Maker

Read the photograph rules in the current official NTA information bulletin before submitting. NTA also tends to want your name and the photo date printed below the image, so the exact spec is worth checking.

Get the NEET photo right

Fix the dimensions before the file size. Resize to exact pixels to reach 200x230, then compress to a KB size so a big phone photo lands inside the KB window.

Because NEET sets a low minimum, an over-compressed file can drop below the floor and be rejected. If yours is too light, increase a too-small file to push it back over the minimum.

Save as JPG and keep a plain white or light background. This tool resizes and compresses only, so shoot against a plain white wall rather than expecting it to clean up the backdrop.
