SSC MTS Photo and Signature Size Maker

SSC MTS recruits Multi-Tasking Staff and Havaldars at matriculation level, drawing a large field of Class 10 applicants. As with every SSC exam now, the portal takes your photo live, so the image you prepare yourself is the scanned signature.

Output is JPG, resized to your pixels and kept at or under the max KB. If a minimum is set, the file is padded up to it. Always confirm the exact rules in the official notification.

What SSC MTS is and the photo step

The Multi-Tasking Staff exam fills Group C non-technical posts across government offices, and the same notice recruits Havaldars in the CBIC and CBN. MTS posts have no physical test, but the Havaldar posts add a physical efficiency and standard test.

On the current SSC portal your photo is captured live by your camera while you apply, so there is no photo file to size for that step. Keep a plain background and even light, and remove any cap or glasses.

SSC MTS Photo and Signature Size Maker

The signature remains a scanned upload, which is what this tool helps with. Use the same signature throughout so it matches at the exam.

Get the MTS signature right

The signature goes in as a JPG of roughly 6 by 2 cm at 10 to 20 KB, signed in running hand with black ink on white paper, not in capitals. Sign large enough to fill the box.

Scan it, then resize to the signature shape and compress to a KB size to land at 10 to 20 KB. Should it drop under the floor, increase a too-small file to clear the minimum.

For an older form or a passport photo you want ready, the tool is pre-set to a common 200x230 pixel, 20 to 50 KB photo. It resizes and compresses only and cannot replace the background.
