The MP ESB combined template
The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board, the MP ESB, holds the constable recruitment test through the MP Online portal. Rather than separate files, it uses a single template that holds the photograph, the signature, and a short handwritten declaration in three cells.
The photo is about 3.5 by 4.5 cm at a file size near 20 to 100 KB, and the signature about 3.5 by 1.5 cm at roughly 10 to 100 KB, both JPG on a white background. Your name and the date the photo was taken, within the last three months, must be printed on the photo.
Exact pixel sizes are not published, so the cm shape, the KB range, and the printed name and date are the parts to get right. Confirm them against the current MP ESB notification.
Pass the on-screen validator
The portal runs a crop tool that rejects the template if the photo, signature, or handwritten text is not clearly visible in its box. Prepare each part before you start: resize the photo to a passport shape and compress to a KB size so it fits, with the name and date readable.
Write the short declaration by hand, in Hindi or English, and sign with a black or blue pen on white paper. A thin or faint pen can break up once compressed, so use a firmer stroke.
If your photo lands under the lower limit, increase a too-small file to clear it. The tool resizes and compresses only and cannot add the name and date or change the background.
