What Rajasthan Police asks for
Rajasthan Police recruits constables for general duty, driver, and band roles through the state SSO portal at sso.rajasthan.gov.in. You need an SSO ID before you can apply, the same login used for other Rajasthan recruitments.
A photo of about 3.5 by 4.5 cm and a signature of about 3.5 by 1.5 cm are commonly cited, both as JPG on a white background. File sizes vary by source and cycle, often around 20 to 50 KB for the photo and up to 20 KB for the signature, with some sources printing the photo date.
Because the KB figures genuinely differ between cycles, treat these as a guide and follow the photograph instructions in the current Rajasthan Police notification.
Size both files cleanly
Log in through your SSO ID, then prepare the files. Resize the photo to a passport shape and compress to a KB size so it fits the window your notice lists, and size the signature the same way.
Sign in black ink on white paper in running hand, not in capitals, and keep a recent photo on a plain background with the face clear. This is the same SSO portal that hosts the RPSC commission forms, but the police constable spec is set by the recruitment, not the commission.
