CGPSC Photo and Signature Size Maker

CGPSC does not publish one fixed photo spec. Each exam's online form carries its own limits, so the size shifts between recruitments and the only reliable numbers are the ones on the form you are actually filling.

Output is JPG, resized to your pixels and kept at or under the max KB. If a minimum is set, the file is padded up to it. Always confirm the exact rules in the official notification.

Specs live in each CGPSC form

The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission runs the State Service Examination, the State Forest Service exam, and Civil Judge and departmental recruitments. The application sits on the CGPSC portal, with a separate online form per exam.

A photo of about 3.5 by 4.5 cm at a file size around 30 to 100 KB and a signature of about 3.5 by 1.5 cm at roughly 20 to 50 KB are commonly cited, both as JPG on a white or light background. The official notifications confirm a JPG photo of no more than about 100 KB.

Pixel figures conflict between sources, so use the cm shape and the KB cap, and read the photograph instructions inside your specific CGPSC form before uploading.

Size both files for your form

Set the photo first, then the file size. Resize to a passport shape, then compress to a KB size so the file lands inside the window your form lists.

Sign in black or blue ink on white paper in running hand. CGPSC, like most commissions, does not accept a signature written in block capital letters, so use your normal handwriting.

The form and notifications are bilingual in Hindi and English. The tool resizes and compresses only, so use a plain background in the photo from the start.
