MPPSC Photo and Signature Size Maker

The MPPSC form runs on the MP Online portal, which checks your photo and signature the moment you upload and rejects anything outside its limits on the spot. Fixing a wrong file later can mean a paid correction window, so it pays to size both correctly the first time.

Output is JPG, resized to your pixels and kept at or under the max KB. If a minimum is set, the file is padded up to it. Always confirm the exact rules in the official notification.

What MPPSC and MP Online expect

The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission conducts the State Service Examination, the State Forest Service exam, and assistant professor and engineering recruitments. Applications go through the MP Online portal linked from mppsc.mp.gov.in.

A photo of about 3.5 by 4.5 cm at a file size near 20 to 100 KB and a signature of about 3.5 by 1.5 cm at roughly 10 to 100 KB are commonly cited, both as JPG on a plain white or light background. Pixel figures vary widely between sources, so the cm shape and the KB cap are the safer guides.

Confirm these against the instruction sheet in the current MPPSC notification, since the exact pixels and KB range change between recruitments.

Beat the on-the-spot validator

Because MP Online rejects out-of-spec files immediately, prepare both before you start the form. Resize to the right pixels, then compress to a KB size so each file lands inside the window rather than just over it.

Sign with a thick black or gel pen, not a thin ballpoint. A faint thin-pen signature often breaks up once the file is compressed and is a frequent reason an upload is refused at this stage.

Keep the photo recent and front-facing with no dark glasses or headwear. The tool resizes and compresses only, so shoot against a plain white wall instead of expecting it to replace the background.
