MPSC Photo and Signature Size Maker
MPSC breaks the rule almost every other commission follows: it wants a solid coloured background, blue, green, or red, not white. Upload the usual white-background passport photo and the Maharashtra form can refuse it, so the background matters as much as the size.

PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF, AVIF, HEIC — up to 50MB each
Output is JPG, resized to your pixels and kept at or under the max KB. If a minimum is set, the file is padded up to it. Always confirm the exact rules in the official notification.

The MPSC background rule and sizes
The Maharashtra Public Service Commission conducts the Rajyaseva state services exam and the Group B and Group C combined exams for posts like PSI, STI, ASO, and clerk-typist. Applications run through mpsconline.gov.in.
The official instructions ask for a 3.5 by 4.5 cm photo and a 3.5 by 1.5 cm signature, each capped at 50 KB and saved only as JPG or JPEG. The standout rule is the background: MPSC wants a solid colour, preferably blue, green, or red, with formal attire and a full front-facing pose.

MPSC does not publish pixel dimensions, so the cm shape and the 50 KB cap are the figures to trust. Confirm them against the instruction sheet in your current notification before uploading.
Size it and keep the scan clean
Shoot the photo against a plain blue, green, or red wall, then resize to the right shape and compress to a KB size so it sits under 50 KB. Run the signature through the same two steps at its own 50 KB cap.
Sign in black ink on blank white paper and scan it. MPSC rejects any image carrying a scanning-app watermark or the app name, so use a clean scan rather than a marked-up phone capture.
One small detail trips people up: the file name can be no longer than ten characters, so rename your files before uploading. The tool resizes and compresses only and cannot change the photo background for you.
