Haryana HPSC Photo and Signature Size Maker

Haryana HPSC does not have one photo rule. It runs different recruitments on different portals, and each sets its own pixel and KB limits, so a size that worked for one HPSC exam can be wrong for the next. Read the upload page for your specific form.

Output is JPG, resized to your pixels and kept at or under the max KB. If a minimum is set, the file is padded up to it. Always confirm the exact rules in the official notification.

Different HPSC portals, different specs

The Haryana Public Service Commission runs the Haryana Civil Services exam, assistant professor posts, and various Group A and B recruitments. Do not confuse it with HPPSC in Himachal Pradesh, which is a separate commission.

The limits genuinely vary by portal. Some HCS cycles quote a photo near 138x177 pixels at 10 to 100 KB and a signature near 138x59 pixels at 10 to 50 KB. Other HPSC portals allow up to 200 or even 500 KB, and several accept PNG as well as JPG.

Because there is no single commission-wide standard, the only reliable numbers are the ones on the upload page of the form you are filling. Treat the figures here as a starting point and confirm against that page.

Size to your specific form

Once you know your form's limits, resize to the listed pixels and compress to a KB size to fit the cap. If the portal accepts JPG, the compress tool produces one ready to upload.

Keep the photo on a plain white or light background with a clear front-facing face, no cap or sunglasses, and sign in black or blue ink on white paper in running hand rather than capitals.

If your form sets a high ceiling like 500 KB, you have plenty of room, so prioritise a sharp photo over a tiny file. The tool changes size and format only and cannot replace the background.
